This is an authentic 1940s car coat, produced by King O’ Wear and identifiable by its early crown label and period-correct metal zipper. The long boxy cut with waist cinch was designed for wearing over suits, making this a classic post-war utilitarian garment. Scarcer than shorter hunting jackets, these coats embody the rugged practicality of the era and remain highly collectible today.
