1960s–70s | British-Pattern | Wool Patrol / Service Jacket – Black - S

Sale price£75.00

Description:

Item: British-pattern wool patrol / service jacket in deep black, featuring stand collar, shoulder epaulettes, twin chest pockets with curved flaps, button front and clean, structured lines throughout.

Era: 1960s–1970s

Brand: Unlabelled (period military / service construction)

Condition: Very good vintage condition with light, honest wear consistent with age. Wool remains dense and well-structured with no notable damage; shape, collar and cuffs present cleanly.

Provenance note:
A strong example of a later-period British-pattern patrol jacket, made in heavy wool and cut with the restrained, utilitarian elegance associated with mid-century service uniforms. The absence of labels suggests private purchase or non-issue production, common in the 1960s–70s, when quality materials and traditional tailoring were still standard. A timeless military silhouette that wears just as well today, built to last and increasingly hard to find in this condition.
