This is a jacket shaped entirely by use. The softened wool, eased structure, and worn-in lining are the result of years spent zipped up against the cold rather than time in storage. Pieces like this were relied upon daily, valued for warmth and durability, and replaced only when the cloth could no longer be kept going. What survives here is the working surface intact — a practical record of labour and repetition pressed into the fabric, and exactly where the appeal lies.
