Provenance Note:
A 1960s American café racer leather jacket, cut in the pared-down style that became the uniform of a generation of bikers. Jackets like this trace their roots to The Wild One (1953), where Marlon Brando defined the rebel look, and they went on to be worn by outlaw motorcycle clubs across the US through the 50s and 60s. With its slim silhouette, zip pockets, and heavy patina, this piece embodies the authentic spirit of mid-century American biker culture. Later adopted by punks and style-conscious youth in the 1970s, café racer leathers remain some of the most sought-after vintage motorcycle jackets today.
