Item: Rare 60s Levi’s Big E 501 in white denim with classic five-pocket layout, paper patch, red tab with capital “E,” hidden rivets, chain-stitched hem and the early straight-leg cut. Soft, creamy white with great 60s character.

Condition: Good vintage condition with scattered marks and tonal age spots, particularly toward the lower legs. These sit naturally on white denim of this age. Fabric remains strong with no holes or structural issues; patch, tab and stitching all intact.

Provenance note: White Big E 501s were produced in far smaller quantities than their indigo counterparts and most were worn out long ago. Surviving examples with original patch, tab and construction details are highly sought after. The subtle patina on this pair reads exactly as expected for true 60s white denim, adding authenticity rather than detracting. A rare and collectible variant of the iconic 501.
