Item: 60s Levi’s Type II denim jacket with Big E red tab, dual chest pockets, pleated front, copper rivets and the classic short, boxy silhouette. Beautiful deep indigo with smoky fades across sleeves, seams and cuffs; original paper patch remnants present.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with strong, even wear. Denim remains thick and healthy with no holes or structural issues; seams tight; buttons and rivets secure. Paper patch largely worn away, as expected for age.

Provenance note: True 60s Type II jackets are highly sought after—this was the last decade of production before Levi’s phased in the Type III. The Big E tab, pleats and silhouette embody one of Levi’s most iconic designs, and examples with this level of natural wear and dark tonality are increasingly hard to source. A grail piece for collectors and a cornerstone of any vintage denim rail.
