Provenance Note: A classic Canadian hand-knit from the Cowichan-influenced tradition—big-gauge wool, shawl collar and bold animal panels built for real winter. These were cottage-industry pieces made in small numbers, each with its own quirks and hand tension, and the deer motif is one of the most sought-after patterns. The weight and warmth are exceptional, making this perfect for terrace style, cabin weekends or archive-worthy knitwear collecting. Hard to find today in this condition with the original metal zip and proper chunky handle.
