1970s–80s | US Marine Corps | Utility Cargo Trousers – Olive Drab - w34

Description:

Item: US Marine Corps utility cargo trousers in olive drab cotton with classic hardwearing build, oversized front patch pockets, cargo pockets and zip ankle openings designed to sit cleanly over boots. Finished with applied “U.S. ARMY” tape to the thigh pocket, as seen on in-service pieces that were re-marked, issued across units, or owner-customised during use.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with light, honest wear. Fabric remains strong and structured with clean seams and solid stitching throughout. Any small signs of use are consistent with original military wear and add character rather than detract.

Provenance note: Proper US military utility trousers with the kind of functional details that modern copies never quite nail, from the generous pocket layout to the boot-zip ankles. These were built to be worked in, not collected, which is exactly why originals have such pull now. A genuinely wearable piece of USMC-era field kit that looks better the more it’s lived in.
