Original 1970s checked polyester trousers in a soft cream and tan grid pattern. Clean, sharp tailoring with a straight leg profile and classic side pockets. Made from period polyester that was engineered for durability, structure and colour retention, not the lightweight, disposable fabric associated with modern synthetics. These hold their shape beautifully and wear more like tailored trousers than casual slacks.

This is proper 1970s polyester, from a time when synthetic fabrics were produced as premium, long-lasting materials chosen for their ability to maintain structure, resist wear and keep colour over decades. These trousers show why period polyester has such a different reputation to modern fast-fashion versions. Well cut, durable and increasingly hard to find in this condition, they represent the golden era of everyday tailoring when longevity was the priority.
