Item: Heavy-gauge wool zip cardigan with shawl collar and metal Talon zipper. Repeating orca/whale bands with geometric dividers in taupe, cream and dark brown; front hand pockets and deep rib cuffs/hem.

Condition: Excellent for age with natural loft/pilling only; no holes, thinning or structural issues. Talon zip runs smooth; collar firm.

Provenance Note: A proper 70s Canadian hand-knit with the sought-after Talon hardware and an uncommon orca motif—less seen than deer but firmly within the Cowichan tradition. The undyed natural wool palette, dense hand tension and graphic sea-life bands give it real period character and serious winter warmth. A collectible, wearable piece that adds variety to any Cowichan-focused rail.
