1970s | Hand Made Embroidered Folk Top | Deep Red Multi - One size
Description:
Item: Original 1970s hand made folk top in a deep red tone with embroidered geometric detailing to the neckline, shoulders and front panel. Finished with bright multicoloured accents in pink, blue, green, orange and yellow, giving the piece a strong folkloric feel without losing its simplicity. Loose, straight cut with an easy drape through the body, typical of traditional hand made tops of this kind.
Era: 1970s
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light, honest signs of age and wear consistent with a hand made garment. The embroidery remains bright and well defined, and the top presents cleanly overall. Minor irregularities to the cloth and finish only add to its character.
Provenance Note: This is a strong, easy-wearing example of the handmade folk pieces that remain so appealing from the 1970s. The rich red ground gives it immediate presence, while the restrained embroidery keeps it versatile and easy to style. It has that one-off, textile-led character that makes handmade vintage feel far more special than a standard embroidered top.

Condition Notes:
Please be aware. All our true vintage items come with a history, and minor signs of age, wear, or character should be expected. Any notable marks, damage, or repairs will always be clearly mentioned. This natural wear is part of what gives genuine vintage its individuality and authenticity. True vintage should not be confused with modern second-hand clothing
We photograph all garments using a professional, studio-grade imaging system designed to show colour, texture, and shape as accurately as possible. This setup was built specifically to give a true representation of each piece and avoid misleading presentation; however, we do not take photos of inside the garment. While we take great care in inspecting every piece, with true vintage it is always possible that a minor detail may be missed.
Sizing Notes:
Please compare these measurements to a similar item you already own, laid flat (rather than measuring your body). Start with the bust measurement, then check length. Vintage sizing runs small and cuts vary significantly from modern equivalents, so the measurements listed are the best guide to fit.
