Provenance Note:

A rare example of a corduroy varsity jacket, made by Maple Sportswear in the 1970s. Chain-stitched with “West Deptford” across the back and personalised with “Gill” at the front. Corduroy varsity pieces were produced in far smaller numbers than their wool counterparts, making them highly collectible today.
