1970s | Sears Wool Sherpa-Lined Shirt Jacket | Cream/Tan Plaid - S
Description:
Item: 1970s Sears heavy wool shirt jacket in cream with tan and navy plaid. Classic oversized collar, button front, twin flap chest pockets and lower hand pockets. Fully lined in warm brown sherpa for proper cold-weather insulation. A thick, rugged outerwear shirt with that unmistakable 70s outdoor feel.
Era: 1970s
Brand: Sears
Condition: Excellent for age with gentle softening to the wool and light, honest surface wear. Sherpa lining clean, pockets strong and no holes or structural issues. Exactly the kind of lived-in character that makes these pieces so appealing.
Provenance Note: Sears produced some of the best affordable outdoorwear of the 60s–70s, and their sherpa-lined wool shirts have become sought after for good reason. Warm, durable and incredibly wearable, they hit the sweet spot between chore coat and overshirt. This cream-based plaid is especially strong—easy to style and much harder to find than the darker colourways. A proper vintage winter staple with real Americana heritage behind it.
