Provenance Note: The large square scoop neckline is the defining feature here: generous and low, its knitted frill border giving it a softness and movement that a plain cut edge would not have. The lace trim at the neckline and cuffs is worked in the same mustard throughout, keeping the detailing tonal and coherent rather than contrasting. The fine rib fabric is semi-sheer at this weight, giving the top a lightness that suits the summer character of the piece. In deadstock condition, the mustard yellow has retained its warmth and depth exactly as produced.
