Provenance Note: 1970s polyester is fundamentally different from modern synthetics. It was engineered for longevity, structure and resilience, with a heavier, more substantial hand and far greater shape retention. Wrangler used these fabrics because they lasted, not because they were cheap. The crisp feel and durability here are exactly why trousers like these survive decades later in wearable condition — a proper product of its era, built to endure.
