Condition: Very good vintage condition. Fabric remains strong and well-shaped with even colour and only light signs of wear consistent with age. No softness or thinning to the cloth.

Provenance Note: 1970s polyester bears little resemblance to modern synthetic fabrics. It was designed for durability, structure and longevity, with a heavier hand and far superior shape retention. Wrangler used this material because it performed hard and wore well over time. The crisp feel and solid drape here are exactly why trousers like these have survived decades later — a period fabric that was engineered to last, not to feel disposable.
