Item: Original 1980s–1990s black kilt jacket with a cropped formal cut, sharp notched lapels, decorative metal buttons and traditional Highland dress styling throughout. Shorter in the body than a standard blazer, with a structured tailored shape designed to sit correctly with kilt wear. A distinctive formal piece with strong ceremonial character and a very specific silhouette.

Condition: Good vintage condition with light, honest wear consistent with age and use. Presents well overall with a clean dark tone, sharp shape and plenty of life left in it. A solid vintage tailored piece with the natural signs of age that add character without detracting from the overall look.

Provenance Note: Kilt jackets always have a very different presence from standard tailoring because the cut is so specific and instantly recognisable. This one has that proper formal Highland dress shape, with the cropped length and metal button detailing giving it real character. A strong piece for styling, occasion wear or anyone drawn to more unusual vintage tailoring.
