Item: Original Levi’s 501 jeans in a beautifully washed red denim, showing that soft, powdery fade that only comes from decades of wear and proper ageing. Classic straight-leg cut with button fly and five-pocket construction, finished in a colourway that feels almost painterly compared to standard indigo.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Fabric remains strong and structurally sound, with even fading throughout that enhances the depth and character of the colour. No thinning or weak points, just honest wear that gives them their visual richness.

Provenance Note:
Coloured 501s were never produced in large numbers, and examples that have aged this well are increasingly difficult to find. USA-made pairs from this period represent the last great era of Levi’s domestic production. The faded red tone here feels archival and artistic, giving these all the heritage of classic 501s while standing far apart from standard denim offerings.
