Item: Original Levi’s 501 button-fly jeans in white denim. Classic straight-leg silhouette with heavy cotton twill, copper rivets, leather waist patch and red tab. A strong late-80s / early-90s colourway that sits firmly in the era of skate, surf and casual Americana.

Era: Late 1980s to early 1990s.

Brand: Levi’s Strauss & Co. – 501. Made in USA.

Condition: Good vintage condition with visible marks and light staining throughout, as shown. No structural damage, no thinning, and fabric remains strong and wearable. These marks are purely cosmetic and come from age and use rather than neglect. The denim still holds excellent weight and shape.

Provenance Note:
White Made in USA 501s are significantly harder to source than standard indigo pairs, and examples with real wear like this often feel the most authentic. These carry the story of use rather than storage, and that’s exactly what gives them character. A proper piece of American denim history, showing honest ageing from a time when Levi’s still produced domestically with heavier cloth and traditional construction.
