Item: Original 1980s Founty knit polo shirt made in Italy in an olive green tone with an all-over vertical geometric stripe pattern, short button placket, chest pocket and ribbed hem. Short sleeve cut with a relaxed, slightly boxy silhouette typical of the period, giving it that easy blouson-style shape 1980s casualwear did so well. Provenance Note: What lifts this above a standard knit polo is the all-over woven stripe design and the softer Italian finish. The olive tone keeps it understated, but the vertical patterning and blouson hem give it that proper 1980s continental leisurewear feel.
