Provenance Note: Luisa Spagnoli is an Italian label with a history stretching back to 1928, long associated with well-made women's clothing produced from quality cloth. The fabric here is the story: a Prince of Wales check with a burgundy overcheck is a traditional suiting weave given a lift by that additional colour, the burgundy lines running across the charcoal and tan ground adding warmth without disturbing the formality of the pattern.
