Description:

Item: A 1980s wool, cotton and acrylic blend jumper, built as a panelled patchwork across the body in navy, sage green, rust, mustard, cream and stone. Each panel carries its own pattern, cable knit, windowpane check, honeycomb texture, and Fair Isle style florals and geometric motifs, set within a marled navy ground. Finished with a roll neck, long marled sleeves and ribbed cuffs and hem with a contrast stripe.

Era: 1980s

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: The patchwork construction is the real draw here, nine distinct panels each worked in a different stitch or motif, from the cable knit and windowpane check through to the poinsettia-style floral and scattered star embroidery. It's a genuinely varied piece to look through, with the marled navy sleeves and body tying the whole patchwork together into one coherent jumper.
