Description:

Item: 1985 M65 field jacket in woodland camouflage. Cut in the standard M65 format with zip and snap storm front, fold-away hood, epaulettes, and four large snap-flap cargo pockets. Retains original issued insignia - "U.S. Army" branch tape, Combat Infantryman Badge pin to the right chest, and a subdued patch to the left sleeve.

Provenance Note: A 1985-dated example places this in the heart of the Cold War period - Reagan-era US Army, woodland pattern at its peak issue, and the Combat Infantryman Badge marking the wearer as someone who saw ground combat in an infantry role. The CIB is one of the most respected decorations in the US Army, awarded only to soldiers who have engaged in active ground combat, and its presence here gives this jacket a specific and verifiable history beyond simply being a named piece. Branch tape, badge, and sleeve patch all intact and original. A properly documented piece of American military field clothing.
