Description:

Item: A 1980s wool blend jumper, worked in ribbed knit and split into colour blocks across red, green and navy, separated by fine cream and black stripe detailing. Set on a contrast navy crew neck, with long sleeves carrying the same block sequence and ribbed cuffs and hem.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: The block sequence here is bold and confident, red giving way to green then navy, each section separated by a fine cream line that keeps the transitions crisp rather than blurred. The ribbed knit throughout adds good texture to what's otherwise a simple colour story, and the proportions, a smaller red block up top against a much larger navy base, give it a distinctive, slightly asymmetric balance.
