Condition: Very good vintage condition. Knit presents well with rich colour contrast and a clean overall shape. Light, honest wear consistent with age, but nothing that detracts. A strong, very wearable piece with the right amount of age and character.

Provenance Note: 1980s YSL knitwear has a real quiet authority to it, and this is a particularly good example. The palette is understated but still distinctive, and the stripe layout gives it just enough presence without losing that refined designer feel. The acrylic and nylon blend is very much of its era too, made for durability, colour retention and long-term wear in a way that is worlds apart from modern fast-fashion synthetics.
