Provenance Note:

A genuine piece of small-town American sports history. This short-sleeve baseball jersey was worn by a player from the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 212 in Hagerstown, Maryland – a lodge well-documented for sponsoring local baseball and softball teams from the 1940s onward.

Crafted in durable cotton flannel/twill, it features bold felt appliqué lettering reading “MOOSE 212” on the chest and the number 4 on the back, all framed with black contrast piping. Original buttons remain intact. Minor age marks and light fraying are present, adding to its authentic game-worn character.

Moose Lodge 212 (Hagerstown, MD) is recorded in mid-century local sports records, including ASA tournament rosters in the late 1970s and earlier mentions in community news, confirming its long-standing team sponsorship history.
