Original U.S. Army women’s M-1943 field jacket, dated September 19, 1944. Classic olive military issue design with button front, pointed collar, shoulder epaulettes, four-pocket layout and waist drawcord. Complete with U.S. Army chest tape and named “Roberts” tape. Cut oversized as intended, designed to be worn over other layers, giving it a strong boxy utility shape.

Provenance Note:
A superb wartime women’s U.S. Army field jacket with a clear 1944 contract label, named chest tape and full military character. The M-1943 pattern is one of the defining American field jacket designs of the Second World War, and women’s examples are far less commonly seen than standard men’s issue pieces. The oversized cut, practical pocket layout and named insignia give this real presence, making it both a highly wearable military garment and a strong collector-grade piece.
