Original 1950s hunting jacket in heavy tan canvas with corduroy collar and classic multi-pocket field construction. Built for hard outdoor use, with large front game pockets and simple, functional workwear tailoring typical of mid-century American sporting garments.

Condition:
Extremely well worn with heavy patina, staining, marks and fabric wear throughout. This is honest, authentic use rather than damage. Exactly the kind of surface character collectors look for in true field-worn garments. Structurally sound and wearable, with decades of history written into the cloth.

Provenance Note:
This is the kind of jacket that rarely survives in untouched condition because it was made to be worked in. Every mark, stain and abrasion is a record of real use in the field. These pieces represent the absolute heart of vintage hunting wear, where function came first and durability mattered above all else. It isn’t distressed, it earned every inch of its character.
