Description:

Item: Jacket with an oversized shawl collar and tie fastening at the waist. Boxy, dropped-shoulder cut with contrast printed collar facing, hem and cuffs.

Era: 1950s

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: A plain navy body offset by a black-and-white textured floral print showing through the oversized shawl collar, hem and cuffs. The wool blend has enough body to hold the deep, dropped shoulders and the tie closes the front softly rather than with buttons.
