1950s Woolrich wool shirts are increasingly scarce, particularly in classic buffalo plaid patterns with intact weight and structure. These were functional garments, worn hard and rarely preserved, making clean survivors difficult to find today. This example represents the brand at its most archetypal, bridging outdoor workwear and everyday utility, and remains one of the most wearable and collectible forms of mid-century American wool.
