Item: Black nylon varsity bomber with metal zip front, ribbed collar, cuffs, and waistband. Features a large chenille “M” patch on chest decorated with multi-sport motifs (football, basketball, track, etc.) and lettering “M.M.A.” Quilted lining.

Condition: Good vintage condition with strong chenille patch. Some light surface wear and age to lining consistent with use, structurally sound.

Provenance Note:

A 1960s varsity bomber with original metal zipper and large chenille letter patch, customised for “M.M.A.” and decorated with multiple sport emblems. The early zip-front style sets it apart from the more common snap-front bombers of later decades, making it a rarer survivor. Mid-century nylon varsity jackets like this are increasingly collectible, bridging the transition from wool knits to lighter athletic outerwear.
