Description:

Item: A 1970s cotton poly blend shirt in a windowpane check, tan with rust lines throughout. Short sleeves, button-through front, single chest pocket cut on the bias, and a pointed collar.

Era: 1970s

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use. There is a small mark to the bottom of the shirt.

Provenance Note: The bias-cut chest pocket is the standout detail here, turning the straight windowpane check into a sharp diagonal cross at that one point, a nice tailoring touch against the otherwise simple grid. The tan and rust combination gives it a genuinely warm, autumnal feel, and the pointed collar and short sleeves keep it easy to wear as a lighter layer.
