Description:

Item: Substantial 1970s European sheepskin coat in warm tan-brown suede with a full natural fleece interior. Double-breasted construction with a pronounced wrap-front, broad shawl-style collar fully faced in dark sheepskin, and a short belted waist detail that allows the coat to be drawn in when worn. The cut is boxy and purposeful with strong shoulders and a dense, insulating body, finished with exposed fleece at the hem and cuffs. Panelled suede construction throughout shows rich tonal variation across the surface.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The suede remains soft and supple with even patina and no dryness or cracking. The sheepskin lining is thick, plush, and intact, retaining excellent warmth and structure. Light surface marks are purely cosmetic and consistent with age, adding depth and character rather than detracting.

A true example of European 1970s sheepskin, made as serious winter outerwear rather than a fashion-led piece.
