Original 1970s polyester blouse by Jane Kernob in a soft blue tone, with a wide pointed collar, button-front fastening and an abstract all-over print in pale peach and navy. Cut with a straight easy body and a lightly relaxed fit, giving it that very typical 1970s blouse silhouette. The print has a more graphic, textural feel than a floral, which gives it a cleaner and slightly more modern-looking period character. As with good vintage polyester of this era, the fabric was made to hold its colour, shape and structure well, and has a very different feel and purpose to later cheap fast-fashion synthetics.
