Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: A Jantzen beach jacket cut from red and white gingham cotton and backed throughout with soft white towelling, so it pulls on straight over swimwear and dries as you wear it. The oversized pointed collar sits wide across the shoulders, and the button-through front runs to the hem with a single buttoned pocket at the chest. The cut is boxy and roomy with dropped shoulders and short sleeves that turn back at the cuff. Jantzen built its name on swimwear, and this belongs to that side of the wardrobe.
