Description:

Item: A 1970s black leather safari jacket with a wide notched lapel, three button front, twin chest patch pockets with pointed flaps and two larger lower patch pockets. Provenance Note: The leather safari jacket was a staple of European menswear through the late 1960s and 1970s, translating the military-derived four-pocket field jacket into a civilian dress context.
