Provenance Note: Libido was a French label that produced fashion-forward denim and cord pieces through the 1970s, sitting alongside the wave of European casual brands that brought real design sensibility to the everyday trouser market during that decade. Finding a pair of fine needle cords from this period in deadstock condition is genuinely unusual, the pile on cord being particularly susceptible to wear and crushing over time. These retain everything — the depth of colour, the texture of the wale, and the crisp cut of the flare. A proper time capsule piece.
