Item: Single-breasted two-button blazer in navy wide-wale corduroy with wide notch lapels, two large patch pockets at the hip, a breast pocket, and plain cuffs. Purple-toned lining throughout. Relaxed, generously cut through the body with a structured shoulder.

Provenance Note: Wide-wale corduroy was a staple of 1970s casual tailoring, and navy was one of its most versatile expressions. The large patch pockets and relaxed cut place this firmly in the mid-decade, when the boundary between smart and casual dressing was at its most relaxed. The corduroy retains good texture throughout and the cut is well-proportioned.
