Description:

Item: A 1970s leather and knit bomber jacket by Ricardo. Tan leather body with horizontal panel seaming across the chest, knit sleeves, ribbed stand collar and hem, and a full snap button front with two diagonal slash pockets at the lower front. A slim, fitted cut with a neat, clean silhouette and good natural patina to the leather.

Provenance Note: Ricardo were a European leather outerwear label producing quality leather and knit combinations through the 1970s, a style that sat at the intersection of sportswear and casualwear during the decade. The all-tan colourway with tonal knit trims gives this example a particularly cohesive, considered look, and the snap button front rather than a zip adds a relaxed character that feels very much of its moment.
