Description:

Item: 1970s sheepskin coat in soft taupe suede with a deep brown mouton-style fleece collar and full shearling lining. Single-breasted three-button front, curved yoke detail, panelled construction and hand-warmer pockets. Heavy, warm and very period-correct.

Condition: Good vintage condition with natural age wear, tonal shading and light scuffing to the suede. Fleece is thick and plush; buttons and seams secure. Presents exactly as a genuine 70s hide should—character without compromise.

Provenance Note: This is a classic from the golden era of British sheepskins—when the hides were thick, the fleece deep-pile, and the cuts distinctive. The darker collar against the taupe body gives it that unmistakable terrace-and-moorland look, equal parts practical and charismatic. These coats age beautifully: the suede softens, the fleece settles, and the whole piece gains depth. A proper winter workhorse with decades of life ahead.
