Provenance Note: TGL was a Swedish label producing well-made everyday pieces through the 1970s, and this navy acetate blouse is one of the more quietly sophisticated pieces from the label. The tonal floral pattern reads as a near-solid at distance while revealing its texture and detail at close range, giving the cloth a depth that a plain acetate wouldn't have. The wide button cuffs are a considered finishing detail, and the deep navy is as versatile and enduring a colour as the format itself. Unworn and fully intact after fifty years.
