Item: Long sleeve half-placket pullover blouse in Vincel and cotton blend, in a bold all-over print of ladybirds, grasshoppers, and floral bouquets in blue, orange, and navy on a red ground. Wide point collar, three-button half placket fastening with toning red buttons, and wide button cuffs. Fitted cut with a straight hem. Deadstock, unworn.

Provenance Note: TGL was a Swedish label producing well-made everyday pieces through the 1970s, and this is the most distinctive print in the range. The combination of ladybirds, grasshoppers, and floral bouquets scattered across a red ground is a genuinely playful design choice, the insects given the same illustrative weight as the flowers in a way that gives the cloth a real personality. The blue and orange palette against the red is bold and well-resolved, and the Vincel and cotton blend holds the print with good colour depth. A characterful piece that has sat unworn for fifty years with all of that fully intact.
