Item: 1970s long sleeve shirt dress by TGL of Sweden in 100% cotton, deadstock condition. Pale sage ground with an all-over abstract wave print in dark green and black, the lines shorter and more fragmented in character than a continuous wave, giving the surface a restless, scattered quality. Band collar, full button placket with gold-tone buttons, and long sleeves with buttoned cuffs. A straight, well-proportioned cut.

Provenance Note: The palette here is close to a natural camouflage, the sage, dark green and black combining in a way that feels as much drawn from landscape as from textile tradition. The print itself is finer and more fragmented than a conventional wave or stripe design, the short broken lines building up across the fabric into something that shifts in reading depending on distance. The gold-tone buttons are well-chosen against the green ground. In deadstock condition throughout.
