Item: Sleeveless knitted tank in deep navy, with ribbed crew neckline and hem. Plain, wearable cut with a slightly open knit that sits nicely over a tee or shirt and layers cleanly under jackets.

Era: 1970s. The silhouette and knit structure read as 70s mass-produced knitwear rather than earlier fully-fashioned 50s/60s tanks or later 80s shapes.

Brand: Unbranded (no maker label present).

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Light, even wear with no obvious holes or repairs. Any subtle patina is honest use that adds character and is why people buy these pieces.

Provenance note: The appeal here is the simplicity, colour and age. Good vintage tanks are surprisingly hard to find in a clean, no-logo format, and this one’s an easy year-round layer for anyone building a proper vintage wardrobe.
