Original 1970s Van Court western shirt in a dark plaid check. Classic pointed western yoke construction with pearl-style press stud fastening, twin pointed chest pockets and long sleeves. Made from a 65% cotton, 35% polyester blend, with the structured but easy-wearing handle typical of good 1970s shirting. Cut with a straight vintage western fit, giving it a clean shape through the body while still sitting naturally as a casual overshirt or standalone shirt.

A strong 1970s western shirt from Van Court, with all the details that make this era of American casualwear so wearable: shaped yokes, press studs, pointed pockets and a dark plaid that works easily across denim, workwear and everyday vintage wardrobes. The cotton-poly blend is also very much of its period; older polyester blends from this era were made for durability, shape retention and long-term wear, quite different from modern fast-fashion polyester.
