Provenance Note: The zip-front windbreaker in a single bold colourway with contrast stripe sleeve detailing was a staple of European casual and sporting dress through the 1970s - worn on the track, the ski slope and the street in equal measure. The format draws directly on the athletic wear of the decade, when sportswear began its long transition from specialist equipment into everyday casual dress. The four-pocket configuration and clean lines give this a practical, almost workwear quality that holds up well today.
