Civil Air Patrol BDU shirts are an interesting variation on the classic U.S. woodland camouflage shirt, carrying the same practical military-style construction with a more specific auxiliary service identity. The blue Civil Air Patrol tape and matching named tape give this example a distinctive look against the camouflage body, making it stand apart from standard Army or Air Force examples. The four-pocket layout and straight overshirt cut keep it highly wearable, while the retained insignia adds the detail and provenance that gives original surplus pieces their appeal.
