Standard military field construction with four front pockets, button closure and reinforced stitching throughout. This example retains original U.S. ARMY chest tape along with a name tape reading ALI and collar rank insignia. The shirt has the relaxed, boxy military cut typical of BDU uniforms, designed for durability and practical field wear.

The woodland BDU uniform defined US military field dress from the early 1980s through the 1990s and became one of the most recognisable camouflage systems of the late twentieth century.
