Item: Original 1980s Avirex B-9 leather vest made in the USA in rich brown leather. Military-inspired sleeveless cut with a pointed collar, snap-front closure, zipped hand pockets, chest utility pocket detail and knitted hem. Strong boxy cut with a broad, easy fit that makes it ideal for layering.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Leather has aged well with strong colour, natural grain and pleasing creasing throughout. Knitted hem appears sound overall, and the vest retains a solid shape. Honest wear adds character and suits the piece perfectly.

Provenance Note: Avirex built its reputation on reworking classic American military flight clothing into bold, highly wearable pieces, and this B-9 vest does that especially well. It has the look of vintage flight gear with a slightly rarer sleeveless format that makes it stand out on the rail. A strong American-made piece with real presence, especially good for layering over sweats, knits or heavier shirts.
