Description:

Item: A 1980s cotton acrylic blend jumper by Enzo Lorenzo, in navy with wide wave-form bands running across the body in red, purple, green and cream. An embroidered golfing scene sits at the centre, a golfer mid-swing with two caddies alongside, and a clubhouse worked in behind. Finished with a ribbed crew neck, long sleeves with matching wave stripes, and ribbed cuffs and hem.

Condition: Very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and use.

Provenance Note: The scale of the wave bands is the first thing that strikes you, that bold red curve sitting right across the chest before the eye moves down to the embroidered golfing scene tucked in below it. The figures are worked in proper detail for their size, the swing, the caddies, even the clubhouse in the background, and the sleeve stripes pick up the same wave rhythm as the body.
